Designer’s Notes
This pillow is called 담요/Dam Yo because it was inspired by Korean quilted blankets made from traditional Korean saekdong fabric. The saekdong is woven by artisans outside of Seoul. Then we quilted the top layer to create a blanket feel and combined it with denim to balance the KoreanAmerican interpretation. The pillow can be shown in your home on both sides toe xpose more saekdong with denim trim or more denim with saekdong trim.
